How can I pay my bill?
Your Business Rates are payable by monthly instalments and the payment dates are shown on your bill. You must pay each instalment by the due date. There are many ways to pay.
Direct Debit is the easiest and most convenient way to pay if you have a bank/building society current account.

- No postage and no queuing.
- No need to remember each month's payment.
Paying this way helps the council reduce collection costs - these savings are passed on to you.
Pay by direct debit.
Pay your Business Rates via the internet, using your debit/credit card. This facility uses the highest levels of data encryption technology, ensuring complete confidentiality.
For all card payments we will issue an authorisation code and if you provide an email address we will send you an electronic receipt.

Payment can be made by BACS transfer using the following bank details. Please make sure you send a remittance advice to email@example.com and you must quote your reference number.

If you want to pay by Standing Order download a Business Rates standing order form. Remember to quote your Business Rates account number. Please allow 5 days for the payment to reach your Business Rates account.

from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please bring your account details when making payment.
Bank Giro Credit
You can pay at any bank using your Bank Giro Credit slips. Some banks charge for this service if you do not have an account with them. You can pay at any branch of Barclays Bank free of charge. Allow 7 days for your payment to reach your Business Rates account.
