A Homophobia incident is 'Any incident, which is perceived to be homophobic by the victim, or any other person. If you are abused because people think that you are lesbian, gay or bisexual this too is a homophobic incident'

Being lesbian, gay or bisexual is not a crime, but someone abusing you because you are is a crime.
