Residents' Survey 2018
The council welcomes feedback on residents' experiences and opinions on council services in order to inform future servcie delivery. The Residents' Survey for 2018 was be open from 5 November to 16 December 2018. You can the Report on the survey.
Planning Policy consultations
The Planning Policy and range of consultations regarding individual planning policy documents. These consultations relate to many such documents and utilise many different tools:
- The Local Plan Part 2 - To comment on the draft Plan please use our online consultation tool. (In recognition of the representations received through the recent consultation undertaken, in respect of the proposed residential site allocations at Oundle, the consultation on this part of the Local Plan only has been extended until 09.00 on Monday 18th February 2019)
- Supplementary Planning Documents
Use the planning consultation tool to Propose a site for a development plan.
Several Town and Parish Councils are currently working to prepare Neighbourhood plans. Further details are available through the Neighbourhood Planning pages.
North Northamptonshire Joint Planning Unit

Article 4 Direction
On 9 January 2016 the Council made an Article 4 Direction which covers the Brigstock Conservation Area. The Direction was confirmed on 23 April 2018 and will come into force on 1 June 2018. For more information, please see the Article 4 Direction webpage.
Civil Penalty Matrix
Under the Housing and Planning Act 2016, Civil Penalty Notices were created as a form of enforcement action for housing offences. There is a consultation on the Civil Penalty Matrix until 1 April 2019.
