The Boundary Commission for England is conducting a review of parliamentary constituencies
Members of the public are invited to give their views on proposed changes to the boundaries of parliamentary constituencies. The East Midlands has been allocated 44 constituencies – a reduction of two from the current number. The proposals leave seven of the 46 existing constituencies unchanged.
Visit The Boundary Commission website for full details on the proposals and information on how to have your say. The consultation will run for 12 weeks and proposals will be on display until 5 December 2016.
During the consultation, the Boundary Commission for England will be visiting the East Midlands to hold public hearings including in Northampton at the Great Hall, Northampton Council offices at the following times:
31 October 10am to 8pm and
1November 9am to 5pm
