East Northamptonshire Council will host a drop-in session this month for residents interested in forming or developing local volunteer groups.
Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire works to improve the quality of life for the county’s communities by supporting voluntary and community action. On 16 December they will be in the council’s reception area at the Thrapston office from 10am til noon.
Visitors can arrive at any point during the two-hour slot to ask questions and receive guidance from Becky Thornton, Sector Support and Development Manager at Voluntary Impact Northamptonshire.
Su Davies, External Funding Manager at East Northamptonshire Council, said: "I am very pleased that Becky is able to hold this session here at the council. The knowledge on offer may prove to be invaluable to the success of volunteer groups in the district. I will also be available on the day to offer advice on funding. I do hope to see many residents making the most of this opportunity."
