Also there will be the following Public Spaces Protection Orders:

• It is an offence to not remove dog faeces from any public land

• It is an offence to not lawfully dispose of bagged dog faeces

• It is an offence to not put your dog on a lead when asked to do so by an authorised officer

• Any play area that is fenced and that has a gate will be a dogs exclusion zone, meaning it is 

an offence to take a dog into a fenced children’s play area at any time.
