Wind and Solar Energy SPD
East Northamptonshire Council has produced a Supplementary Planning Document to ensure that future energy developments are suitable for the area. The document was adopted by the Planning Policy Committee on the 29th September 2014.
The SPD sets out information and requirements for the preparation of planning applications relating to wind and solar development. It is intended for use by developers in selecting sites and drawing up proposals, as well as by the Council in determining planning applications. It covers issues such as heritage, landscape, noise, safety and decommissioning.
