Overview
East Northamptonshire Council has carried out a review of the village of Islip for the potential of conservation area designation. Following that review, a conservation area boundary plan has been produced along with a conservation area appraisal and management plan. Together these documents form the basis for designation. These documents can be downloaded using the following links:
The council invited views on the proposals through a consultation which finished on 13th September 2013. Following a review of comments, the conservation area for Islip was then designated on 21st October 2013.
