Local Land Charges search

Submit a Local Land Charges search

Local Land Searches are made up of two forms - the LLC1 and the CON29.

LLC1 only reveals entries on the Local Land Charges Register.

CON29 is a list of standard enquiries in respect of Planning, Building Control, Environmental Health, Highways, Compulsory Purchase Orders, Drainage and other matters of interest to home buyers.

For a full official search, LLC1 and CON29 are submitted together with a location plan in duplicate to Ordnance Survey Standards.  Please note a complete postal address for the property must be included on the form. Forms are available from any legal stationery shop or the Law Society.

Alternatively, you can use our Easy search form to order LLC1 and CON29 forms.  You can email this form and a plan to Land Charges. Payment can be made either via the council's online payment system or by cheque.  Please note if you're making payment online, you must quote the payment reference number on your form or we will be unable to process your search.  The completed searches will be e-mailed to you.

You can purchase component data for a CON29 Part 1 search. You can use the Request Form CON29R Component Data. You can email this form and a plan to Land Charges. Payment can be made either by cheque or via the council's online payment system.  Please note if you're making payment online, you must quote the payment reference number on your form or we will be unable to process your search.  The completed searches will be e-mailed to you.

East Northamptonshire Council has taken into account all of the costs and processes associated with the provision of service in calculating its current fees.

The council's services and standards are under constant review and any changes will be notified as applicable.
