East Northamptonshire Council are carrying out a survey to provide residents with the opportunity to give their views on what housing should be provided on the new development at Deenethorpe Airfield, to be called Tresham Garden Village, and gather information about the housing needs of the existing community in the surrounding area. (For further details about Tresham Garden Village, please see the dedicated council webpage available here.) ENC is working with ORS consultants to deliver the postal survey to 4,000 households across the northern part of East Northants district and across the whole of Corby and part of Kettering local authority area. The survey is being sent to a random sample of households in order to ensure that the results are robust and representative of the views of the wider area.
Households will receive a letter during January 2021, and can complete the survey online or return this via freepost by the specified date. The surveys will be collated and will be the basis of a report that will outline what affordable and specialist housing is required as part of the planning application and inform officers response to the application.
The final report will be published on ENC’s website for members of the public to view.
