This report sets out the analysis and conclusions relating to the size and mix of new properties required at a district -wide level, using data from the Census 2011 and the Strategic Housing Market Assessment 2012 (SHMA), together with local planning and housing data including:
- Existing stock - size and tenure
- Demand for market and affordable housing
- Supply -new and existing
Further ward and small area assessments have also been undertaken. They are based on ward area Census data, apportion the information from the SHMA and take into account local characteristics and variations across the district.
