To help minimise the risk to our staff and customers, we are operating an appointment based system to enable anyone needing to visit our offices to do so. Please read our guidance on the re-opening of our Cedar Drive and Rushden Centre offices.
We are currently not operating an outreach service at Fletton House in Oundle, Irthlingborough Library and Raunds Library.

Government guidance for businesses
A full range of business support measures have been made available to UK businesses and employees. This page helps businesses find out how to access the support and advice that has been made available, and is constantly updated. https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus/business-support
SEMLEP business advisors can help business owners navigate the HM Govt advice, and offer a wider support service. For example; helping businesses manage the continuing impact of COVID19 across different sectors, Brexit planning, Resilience Planning, and support with Redundancy.
Recovery Through Enterprise - the Council's local Economic Recovery Plan
To help local business respond to the changes and challenges of the economic impact of Covid-19, we have put in place a 'gateway' service through the University of Northampton.
Businesses can speak to an advisor 1-to-1, and through a diagnostic will be offered a range of support which includes, but is not limited to; financial planning, ongoing and bespoke 1-to-1 support with Building Business, mental health support, discounted membership of business organisations and referral to the widest range of support for startup, micro businesses and SMEs. This service can also help the Self-Employed.

Northamptonshire County Council guidance
You can find the latest local and national coronavirus updates affecting the county on the Northamptonshire County Council website. This includes health advice and guidance, changes to NCC services and events, and support available for businesses and educational settings.
Northamptonshire coronavirus outbreak prevention and control plan
This local plan is designed to explain how Northamptonshire County Council, alongside Local Resilience Forum (LRF) partners and other key stakeholders, including East Northamptonshire Council, will work with the NHS Test and Trace service and regional Public Health England (PHE) Centre, to ensure the county’s system is ready to play its part in the 'contain' phase of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The plan is supported by a number of national and local policies and procedures and so will remain 'live' over the course of the pandemic to ensure it reflects current guidance and best practice.
This is a draft plan subject to ratification by the Northamptonshire Strategic Coordination Group (SCG) and the COVID-19 Health Protection Board, and final sign off by the Northamptonshire COVID-19 Oversight and Engagement Board.
To view the current version of the plan, please visit NCC’s website.
Coronavirus testing in Northamptonshire
There is now a page on the NCC website dedicated to sharing the latest information about COVID-19 testing. The page will be updated twice daily with details of mobile testing centres that are available across the county.
Testing is an important part of keeping COVID-19 under control. If you have symptoms of coronavirus or you have been in close contact with someone who has had symptoms, please self-isolate and get tested as soon as you can. You can book a test online or call 119. Alternatively, you can order a test which you can do at home.
