Oundle has an interesting and lively market on Thursdays
Oundle has an interesting and lively market on Thursdays where you may buy fresh bread and local sausages amongst other items. There is a variety of stalls for browsing and shopping.
There is also a Farmers' Market is held on the second Saturday every month.
A Farmers' Market is where local farmers and other people making products with local ingredients meet to sell their produce directly to the public. The producers must live locally and sell only their own products. The person behind the market stall must be directly involved with the produce on sale. The advantages to the customer are that the produce is fresh, the stallholder can answer questions about the product they are selling and they also support the local community.
The Farmers' Markets guide times are from 9.00am - 2.00pm (approximately).
