Commercial pest control

East Northamptonshire Council offers a pest control service for commercial premises.  You can have either an annual contract or one-off treatments.

Annual contracts

If you would like to arrange an annual contract one of our pest control officers will come out and assess your premises for the contract charge.  The contract price is based on the size of the premises and the number of baiting points that are needed. 

Your annual charge includes six visits by a pest controller and any pesticides used.  If you have an infestation that needs treating up to three extra re-visits are included as part of one of your main visits in the year.

The contracts are mainly for the treatment of rats and mice.  However, visits for wasps' nests and ants can be substituted for one of the visits. Treatment for fleas and bed bugs are not included in this contract.

Individual one-off treatments

Where there is a specific problem to treat, we offer one-off pest control visits.  Charging for these is based on the time our pest control officers spend at the premises and the cost of the pesticides.  If we need to visit regularly however, it is cheaper to have an annual contract.

The contract period is 1 April to 31 March.  If you take out a contract later in the year your contract price is based on the time to treat the premises and the number of visits for the remainder of the year.
