An update to the Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for the District (a Level 1 update) was completed by URS/ Scott Wilson in August 2011. This recommended that certain sites, including Oundle Marina (RNOTP Policy 21) ought to be subject to more detailed site specific Level 2 SFRA work.
Strategic Flood Risk Assessment
Since completion of the Level, the Council has been in discussions with the Environment Agency about the possibility of undertaking detailed Level 2 SFRA assessments for a number of sensitive locations. The letter below and Level 1 SFRA update should be taken into account alongside the relevant RNOTP policies when considering specific development proposals.
