New standards arrangements
The Localism Act 2011 proposed changes to the standards arrangements, including the Code of Conduct for Councillors and the disclosure of interests.
The final detailed regulations in relation to these changes were published in early June, with the abolition of the previous arrangements taking place on 1 July 2012.
