Transparency in the council
We are committed to being open and transparent with our residents on the important things - who we are, what we do and how we spend your money.
In June 2010, Central Government introduced their Transparency Agenda, requiring all councils to publish items of spending over £500 by January 2011. The Government has also committed councils to publishing information about senior staff salaries and contract details.
We have put together the required data following guidance from Central Government and are publishing it on these pages.
Some data has not been included if it refers to specific individuals, as all the information that we publish must comply with the Data Protection Act, the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Act.
Please refer to the licence conditions that relate to the re-use of this information.
If you have any comments or queries about the information published you can contact the Finance Manager using the details on the right.
