The main focus for the Environmental Protection Team is the investigation of statutory nuisances under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
They also deal with air quality, foul and land drainage, contaminated land,caravan site licensing, public and private water supplies, swimming pools, regulated industrial processes, unauthorised encampments, biosolids and insecure buildings.
The Private Sector Housing Team deal with disabled facilities grants, housing conditions, landlord management, houses in multiple occupation, energy efficiency and fuel poverty.
